The friendly voices which you will encounter by telephone and in person at the practice are Nicole and Sandy. Both are highly trained medical secretaries who will be familiar with many of your enquiries due to their extensive knowledge of spinal surgical practice.

All appointments are made based on the time of referral. If you feel that your situation has a more pressing urgency than the time allocation which you have been given, please ask your doctor to forward your x-ray report to the rooms with a short explanatory note. These will then be reviewed, and wherever possible, an earlier appointment may be given.

Nicole and Sandy are available to answer any questions which you may have related to the running of the practice including: what to bring to your appointment, billing information and details of admission to the hospital if this is required.

Location

Our office is located on the 8th floor of the Specialist Centre at the Brisbane Private Hospital on Wickham Terrace. If you enter the hospital from Wickham Terrace you will take the lift from Floor 6 of the Specialist Centre up to Level 8 and follow the signs to our rooms. Parking is at somewhat of a premium in the inner city however there is parking available off Birley Street in the hospital car park for a fee. Metered street parking is sometimes available however this may be difficult to find and is often some distance from the hospital. Disabled parking is available off Wickham Terrance and in the hospital carpark.

Should your condition require surgical treatment, Assoc. Professor Richard Williams operates at the Brisbane Private Hospital and at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Hospital admission details will be given to you at the time of booking your surgery.

The office is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm weekdays and outside these hours contact may be made by leaving a message.
